Who AM I?

I am a Mechanical Engineering EIT that works with in the nuclear  industry in Ontario. I am familiar with most nuclear codes and quality standards including CSA N285, N299.4/.3/.2/.1, ISO9001:2015. I developed an understanding of these codes through the work I have done for Ontario Power Generation, Bruce Power, and BWXT.  I have 9 years experience drafting on AUTOCAD and 6 years on SOLIDWORKS.

After work in the summer, I enjoy taking my jet ski out for a spin on the lake and watching the sun set. I also volunteer as a camp director at Ruskoka Camp a summer camp for underprivileged kids from Russia, Ukraine, and Eastern Europe. I’ve been involved with running summer camps for most of my life. I currently manage a team of between 20 and 30 counselors. Once the weather cools off, I throw on all my heated gear and hit the slopes on my snowboard.

Though out University I ran a general contracting business where I renovated bathrooms, kitchens, and built custom cabinetry. I still enjoy being hands on with home renovations and continue to improve my own house.

I’m eager to continue to fuel my knowledge of new technologies within the nuclear industry and work on machinery to produce life saving radiopharmaceuticals or produce clean carbon free energy in Ontario.
